MEETING PLACE
In front of the ticket gates at Keihan Tofukuji station (East exit by the platform 2).
If you are arriving by JR, just follow a sign that says “Tofukuji/東福寺”. Tofukuji Station of JR Railway and Keihan Railway is side by side. You will arrive at the meeting place, Keihan Tofukuji Station, by following the sign.
*If you wish to be picked up at your hotel, there is a pick-up fee. Fee varies from 1000 yen to 3000 yen depending on the location of your hotel. Please contact us for further details and include the name of your hotel in your inquiry.
The tour ends at the heart of the Tofukuji Temple complex. After the tour, you can continue your journey to the world-famous Fushimi Inari Shrine which has over 1000 vermillion torii gates, or go back to JR Tofukuji Station, both of which are within a 20-minute-walk from the tour ending point.
